Deaf dog needs home that sees her as Special not special needs

CashMt. Vernon, NY. A fire devastated the house that Cash once called home. Her struggling family had nowhere to go no means to care for their dogs. Cash is deaf she lost her home, her family and now she is in a shelter, away from all that she knows and all that she loves. Because she is deaf, many people pass her by Shelter volunteers have described Cash as an incredibly smart dog they feel that she will pick up hand signals quickly. When Cash is able to leave her kennel run and go for a walk, her excitement trumps her anxiety the potential for her to be happy becomes more apparent.

Cash is in need of a helping hand please help share her story and help her find that special individual that is not afraid of her disability.Cash is at the Mt. Vernon Animal Shelter. Though not a requirement, the shelter would love to see the dogs adopted out together so that they can maintain their friendship in the years to come.
